Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect displacement stably by passing constant currents among a central electrode and each end section electrode for a ceramic superconductor piece, at a central section and end sections of which the electrodes are fitted, and measuring voltage fluctuation between the both end electrodes due to the displacement of an applied magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 2, 3, 4 are set up at both ends and center of a ceramic superconductor piece 1 displaying a magnetoresistance effect by applied magnetic fields, and constant currents I are flowed among the central electrode 4 and both end electrodes 2, 3. When a magnetic field M is applied to the superconductor piece and the magnetic field M is displaced, voltage fluctuation corresponding to the displacement x of the magnetic field M is generated between terminals (a), (b). The voltage fluctuation is measured, thus stably detecting displacement.
