Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the flow passage resistance of a developer and to make its flow smooth by providing slanting plates which slant in the opposite direction from the developer moving direction of a paddle roller across the upper end part of a nap cutting member. CONSTITUTION:The nap cutting member 4 which is arranged above a magnetic roller 3 and shunts a scooped-up developer 30 and a partition plate 5 which is arranged above the magnetic roller 3 and paddle roller 2 and allows the shunt developer 30 to flow down are provided. Further, the slanting plates 6-11 are provided, which slant in the opposite direction from the developer moving direction of the paddle roller 2 across the upper end part of the partition plate 5 from the upper end part of the nap cutting member 4. The developer which is right after being shunt by the nap cutting member 4 strikes on the slanting plates 6-11 in the highest-energy state and flows down on the partition plate 5 without being charged between slanting plates.
