Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled product of good quality in high yield, by mounting molds on a revolving table through a thermal insulating material of low thermal conductivity to enable cutting heat transfer from the molds to the table to effect the thermal expansion on the table to a minimum. CONSTITUTION:The objective pressing machine consists of a revolving table 1 a plural of molds 5 mounted thereon through a thermal insulating material 11 of low thermal conductivity and a press. This press charges molten glass mass 14 into one of the molds 5 where said table 1 is stopped. Along with this process, a plunger 10 is made to descend into one of the other molds 5 to carry out a forming of the glass mass 14 in the mold 5.
