Abstract

PURPOSE:To simultaneously achieve the enhancement of the falling impact resistance of a can-lid and the reduction of can opening force, by arranging a plurality of projections to the can-lid in the vicinity of the score line of the intermediate part, which connects both ends of the small semicircular score line around a rivet and the large semicircular score line in the vicinity of the outer periphery of the can-lid, in a dispersed state. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of projections 10 are arranged to the panel part 2 in the vicinity of a score line 3c in a dispersed state. The projections 10 suppress the bending deformation along the score line 3c (tensile stress crossing the score line at a right angle) due to the shock generated when a can body falls to achieve the improvement of falling impact resistance. That is, when the projections 10 having this shape are arranged in a dispersed state, the impact force at the time of falling becomes the tensile stress in the normal direction of the projections 10 and is dispersed in all directions and, as a result, the tensile stress component crossing the score line at a right angle can be reduced.
