Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the noise level by boring, in at least one surface plate of a door, a plurality of three-dimensional vent holes, which each have an opening edge protrude to the interior of the surface plate, and allowing both the surface plates to pinch therebetween a sound absorbing material with a cloth material attached to the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION: The objective door 5 is constructed by joining surface plates 8 each having a plurality of vent holes 7 on both surfaces of a peripheral frame 6, and allowing the surface plates 8 to pinch a sound absorbing material 9 therebetween. The vent holes 7 each have its circular opening edge 71 protrude to an inner side 84 of each surface plate 8. The sound absorbing material 9 is formed by attaching a cloth material to the surface of glass-wool or the like, which is formed like a thick sheet, and prevented from coming in contact with the surface plate 8. Voice or the like let out in the front of the surface plate 8 is propagated from the vent holes 7 to the interior of the surface plate 8 to be absorbed by the material 9, which is then converted into thermal energy. Accordingly, the noise level in a room can be reduced.
