Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent outside air from being sucked into a water tank by the convection of heat from outside the water tank to produce a displaying effect such that food in a basket is enveloped in steam by providing a wall part surrounding the water tank via a passage, and extending the lower end of the wall part to a sufficiently spaced position to guide air warmed by the waste heat of a gas range into the passage. CONSTITUTION: Air warmed by the waste heat of a gas range 5 boiling water in a water tank 4 is collected in a heat collecting part 22, and since a dent 3 in the water tank 4 is columnar, the efficiency of convecting the warmed air in the heat collecting part 22 can be increased. The warmed air collected in the heat collecting part 22 is effectively fed into a passage 8 by the rising action of heat and is fed into the water tank 4 communicated to the passage 8 by an air vent 11, so that steam concentrating at the top of the water tank 4 is effectively fed out of the water tank 4 from a steam receiving plate 7B in which a steam hole 12 is formed. A large amount of steam is issued from the steam hole 12 to produce a displaying effect such that food in a basket is enveloped in the steam.
