Abstract
PURPOSE:To satisfy both stability in lateral direction and an accelerating property at the time of steering starting by lowering the target value of a slip control by means of the application of braking force without varying the target value of a slip control by means of the lowering of a generating torque, at the time of the steering starting. CONSTITUTION:A control means for a power source and a control means for brakes receive the output of a slip detecting means and carry out slip control so as to make the slip of driving wheels each of a first target value and a second target value by controlling a braking force adjusting means. A second target value varying means receives the outputs of a low vehicle speed detecting means and a steering angle detecting means and, at the time of low vehicle speed, varies only the second target value in a reducing direction without varying the first target value in accordance with the steering angle of a handle. Thereby, during cornering at the time of steering starting, stability in lateral direction can be ensured by lowering the second target value for braking. At the same time, an accelerating property can be ensured since the first target value for power source is maintained as it is.
