Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of a freezing object to a wall surface of a freezing chamber and to enable uniform freezing of the object, by providing a mechanism to raise the wall temperature of a freezing chamber and introducing chilled air into the chamber. CONSTITUTION:The wall 11 of a freezing chamber 1 is constructed of an inner panel 12 composed of a plate of a metal such as aluminum or stainless steel, a heating element 13 placed behind the inner panel and an insulation coating 14 embedding the heating element 13 and composed of a silicone rubber, etc. The inner panel 12 is preferably maintained at 0-+5 deg.C.
