Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize a motor for a classification conveyer for fruit or the like by providing on the side way of a chain formed out of roller links and pin links, a carrying element in such a way that it tilts down freely, and providing at pin link plates horizontal and vertical rotary rollers alternately and zigzag.
CONSTITUTION: An endless bendable conveyer chain 2 is formed by connecting roller links 3 and pin links 4 alternately. And, an attachment 7 which extends upward and protrudes outside is provided on the side portion of the chain 2 in the chain's advance direction, and a carrying element 8 forming a loading surface is provided at the attachment 7 in such a way that it can tilt down. Also, a roller 6 is fitted to these pin link plates 41a, 41b, and a vertical rotary roller 61a and a horizontal rotary roller 62b are formed. In this instance, the vertical and horizontal rotary rollers 61a, 62b are arranged alternately and zigzag. As a result, the capacity of a motor can be made small, and also, traveling with bendable side surfaces can be performed.
