Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve feeding efficiency, in a high speed feeder for vegetables and fruits, by coupling an inclined arranging conveyor and a selection conveyor at a pass-over section and arranging brush conveyors respectively above transfer sections to the arranging conveyor and the selection conveyor. CONSTITUTION:Materials 10 fed from a feeder 1 to an arranging conveyor 2 in single or double rows are accelerated at an accelerating section 23 and fed to an accumulate section 24 where they are subjected to function of a first brush conveyor 3 and arranged. Then they are fed one by one to a pass-over section 4 from where they are fed to the transfer section 64 of a selection conveyor 6. At this time, they are guided to the brush tunnel carry path of a second brush conveyor 5 while being pushed from above, and fed in single arranged row onto the selection conveyor 6. Since the material can be fed smoothly and stably while being arranged, filling efficiency is improved resulting in improvement of feeding efficiency.
