Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve conveniences for using an automated hot-water heater by providing a means for controlling a heat source and another means for sensing water boiling respectively enabling boiling, hot insulation and re-boiling under heat insulation. CONSTITUTION:A heating coil 5 as a heat source operates on high frequency power generated by an inverter circuit 14. The frequency of the inverter circuit 14 is controlled by a control means 16. The control means 16 inputted with the designated water boiling condition such as high, medium and low temperatures via a setting means 17 controls the operation of the inverter circuit 14 depending upon the designation. The control means 16 makes selective control from a water boiling condition to a hot insulation condition, according to input from a water boiling sensing means 18. When the designation of water boiling is again inputted to the control means 16 via the setting means 17 even in a hot insulation condition, said means 16 operates to change the frequency of the inverter circuit 14 as determined, thereby starting a heating process.
