Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce AC loss in a superconductor as well as improve insulation efficiency by forming a porous CR plating layer of 1-5mum as an insulation cover on the surface of a superconductive element wire, in a superconductor of compulsive cooling type or soaked cooling type. CONSTITUTION:In a superconductor 1, a porous Cr insulation film 3 of 1-5mum in thickness is formed at a periphery of a superconductive wire 2. And this Nb3Sn superconductive element wires 2 are twisted by 3X3X3X4=108 lines and pressing roll by a stainless tape 4 is applied to its periphery and its further periphery is applied with longitudinal support by a stainless tape and covered with a rectangular stainless pipe 5 by welding.
