PURPOSE:To reduce AC loss in a superconductor as well as improve insulation efficiency by forming a porous CR plating layer of 1-5mum as an insulation cover on the surface of a superconductive element wire, in a superconductor of compulsive cooling type or soaked cooling type. CONSTITUTION:In a superconductor 1, a porous Cr insulation film 3 of 1-5mum in thickness is formed at a periphery of a superconductive wire 2.
