Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow an easy and inexpensive electric connection between both top and bottom faces of a wiring board, by inserting a reverse U-shaped conductor into a pair of holes bored at a connecting section of conductive metal films formed on both faces of a wiring board, and soldering the horizontal section of the reverse U-shaped conductor and the both ends thereof. CONSTITUTION:Two holes 12a and 12b are interconnected to the connecting sections of conductive metal films 13 and 14 formed onto both top and bottom faces of a double faced printed wiring board 12. A reverse U-shaped conductor 15 is inserted into these holes 12a and 12b from the top face of the board 12, and a solder 16 is applied to both horizontal section 15c of the conductor and soldering land 13a thereof. The opposite ends 15a and 15b of the conductor 15 are soldered to soldering lands 14a and 14a by a solder 18. In this instance, the heat transferred to the conductor 15 causes the solder 16 to melt, thereby soldering the part 15c with a land 13a. According to the constitution, both faces of the board 12 are electrically connected easily and inexpensively.
