Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure burglary preventive ability and to prevent entering of rainwater by pivoting a window panel adapted to turn to the interior of a compartment on an opening portion of the side portion of a car body, and forming an air hole on a pillar member exposed to the outside of the compartment when the window panel is turned. CONSTITUTION:A rear side opening portion 11 is formed at the rear portion of the side wall of a car body 1, and a rear pillar 12 is disposed in the peripheral portion of the back side of the rear side opening portion 11. In this case, the rear pillar 12 is formed by joining inner and outer panels 13, 14 of the interior and exterior R, O of a compartment to be closed in section, an air hole 15 is bored in the front side surface, and a ventilating fan 18 is accomodated therein. On the other hand, a rear side window 19 is pivoted on the rear side opening portion 11 through a hinge 20 mounted on the forward end portion thereof. In case of discharging hot-air in the interior R of the compartment during parking, the rear side window 19 is turned to the interior R of the compartment to introduce outside air into the interior R of the compartment through the air hole 15 using the ventilating fan 18.
