Abstract

PURPOSE:To be freely assembled, disassembled and detached whenever necessary by constituting this magnet in such a way that an attractive force is always exerted on both faces of an identical kind and that no repulsive force is exerted on them by using a simple identification method. CONSTITUTION:This composite magnet is constituted in such a way that an N face and an S face of magnets of the same shape which are substantially rectangular parallelepiped and whose two or more faces are perpendicular to a magnetization direction are arranged alternately; this composite magnet is constituted in such a way that these magnets are used as unit magnets and that two or more pieces of these unit magnets are combined in a three- dimensional direction. If two or more pieces of these composite magnets are combined, two pieces therefrom are taken out from them and faces of an identical area and an identical kind are brought into contact with each other; as a result, it is possible to combine them in such a way that an attractive force is always exerted and that no repulsive force is exerted. It is simple to combine them if, e.g., an upper face of each unit magnet is color-coded for identification use. By this setup, the magnet can be assembled, disassembled or detached easily and conveniently.
