Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a temperature sensor eliminating a connection cable between a temperature detecting section and a signal output section, by a method wherein a temperature detecting section is made up of a thermosensitive magnetic body and a permanent magnet laminated thereon and a magnetic sensor built into a signal output section faces the thermosensitive magnetic body through a space. CONSTITUTION:A temperature detecting section 3 made up of a thermosensitive magnetic body 31 varying in leakage magnetic flux with a change in the ambi ent temperature and a permanent magnet 32 laminated thereon 31 is set within a tank 7 heated with a heater 72 holding a liquid 71 and the temperature of the liquid being heated can be detected with a signal output section 4 set outside the tank 7. This eliminates a cable for connecting the temperature detecting section 3 within the equipment and the signal output section 4 outside the equip ment thereby unnecessitating a job for protecting the cable from a high tempera ture, high humidity, poisonous gas or the like.
