Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable continuous printing on predetermined framed parts of a printing material without any protrusion of printed images from the framed parts, by printing a color pattern on each of the framed parts of the printing material located in a predetermined positional relationship with a detection mark. CONSTITUTION:A printing material 4 placed on a loop form conveyor 1 is fed in a moving direction on the basis of each framed part 7 thereof. Immediately after the material 4 is paid out from a payout roll 3a, a detection mark M is printed by a printer 11 on a marginal part 4a of the material 4 in the state of not being staggered in the width direction. When the detection mark M reaches a first printing station 5a, the mark M is detected by a detecting means 12 disposed on the outside of a screen frame 9a provided at the printing station 5a. When the material 4 is staggered in the width direction and the detection mark M is displaced in the width direction from a normal position, a position adjustor 13 is operated by according to a detection signal from the detecting means 12 to move the screen frame 9a from an original position by an amount equal to the displacement.
