Abstract
PURPOSE:To protect an insulator from degradation, by an applying bridge forming agent between a semi-conductive thermal shrinkage tube to be shrinked thermally over a sleeve and an insulating thermal shrinkage tube, thereby increasing interface adhesion strength between semi-conductive and insulating layers and shortening the work time. CONSTITUTION:A semi-conductive layer 24 where a semi-conductive thermal shrinkage tube is shrinked over a sleeve 12 and an insulating thermal shrinkage tube 26' are employing bridged material. A layer 28 of bridgable plastic or bridge forming agent is provided on the inner face of the tube 26' in order to improve adhesion at the interface between the semi-conductive layer 24 and the tube 26'. The tube 26' is thermally shrinked onto a formed semiconductive layer 24 so as to provided an insulating layer 26. Consequently, interface adhesion strength between the semiconductive layer 24 and the insulating layer 26 is increased sufficiently.
