Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the precision of the positioning stop of a truck, by driving the truck at a specified low speed using an inverter, till the truck comes to a second deceleration point after it is decelerated at the specified low speed. CONSTITUTION:When a truck 3 comes to a first deceleration point A, then a proximity switch 10 is worked, and the main circuit of a stator 6 is opened, and commercial frequency negative-phase-sequence current is permitted to flow to the stator 6, and a damping force is applied to the truck 3. when the speed of the truck 3 is lowered to be a specified low speed, then the negative-phase- sequence current is turned OFF. At the same time, from an inverter 16, low-fre quency three-phase power suitable for running at a low speed is fed to the stator 6, and the truck 3 is run at an almost constant low speed. When the truck 3 comes to a second deceleration point B, then a proximity switch 11 is worked, and the working of the inverter 16 is stopped, and negative-phase- sequence damping is applied to the truck 3 again to stop it. As a result, positioning precision can be improved.
