Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the quantity of unmilled rice discharged from a rotary sorting cylinder by forming a pot hole of a mixed rice sorting trough on the discharge side of the rotary sorting cylinder to a large size compared with a pot hole shape at an area corresponding to a finished rice sorting part on the supply side thereof and closing an area corresponding to the mixed rice sorting trough of a finished rice trough. CONSTITUTION: The inside of the rotary sorting cylinder 11 is divided with an annular partition plate 23 to the finished rice sorting part 24 on the supply side and the mixed rice sorting through 25 on the discharge side. The pot hole of the mixed rice sorting trough 25 is formed to a larger size compared with the pot hole shape corresponding to the finished rice sorting part 24. A supplying tough for receiving the mixed rice and transferring the mixed rice to the supply side of this cylinder 11 is arranged on a drawing up side within this rotary sorting cylinder 11 and a finishing trough 16 for receiving the unmilled rice is arranged on a side of rotating from above to below the cylinder 11, respectively. A part corresponding to the mixed rice sorting trough 25 of this finishing trough 16 is set to be in a closed state where drawn up grains do not drop, and the lower layer portion, in which much unmilled rices are mixed out of grains flowed to the mixed rice sorting trough 25 is drawn up high by the large pot hole, and is supplied from the trough to the cylinder 11, where the rices are re-sorted to reduce the quantity of the unmilled rice discharged from the cylinder 11.
