Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a regenerated fiber having excellent opening degree, by jetting compressed air from plural jetting holes of a ring nozzle in an opening part on a residual roving passing through the central part of the ring nozzle and almost completely carrying out loosening of mutual fibers constituting the roving. CONSTITUTION:When a residual roving (a) is passed through the central part of a ring nozzle 7, compressed air under 3-6kg/cm<2> gauge pressure is jetted from jetting holes of the nozzle to open the roving. The resultant opened fibers (c) are then led into a duct 2 by a pneumatic conveying part 4 and pneumatically conveyed. Thereby the residual roving can be opened at >=90% opening degree.
