Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain majority logical decision with a simple and small sized circuit by detecting a voltage drop across a resistor connected in series with plural transistors (TRs) connected in parallel. CONSTITUTION:With an input signal to decide the majority logic given to input terminals I1In respectively, TRs T1-Tn are turned on or off depending whether each input signal is at a high or low level. In this case, the amount of current flowing to the resistor 1 varies with the number of TRs in the on-state and the rate of the voltage drop across the resistor 1 caused by the current is changed. As a result, the voltage at a node terminal 2 is changed but in setting the detection level of a detector 3 connected to the node terminal 2 to a prescribed value, when a half or over the said TRs are turned on, a signal is outputted from an output terminal 4 by the detector 3 to attain majority logical decision.
