Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a difference between recording densities of an end point dot and an intermediate dot to be removed, by repeatedly recording same data on a medium in head scannings of two times concerning the end point dot of a large decrease in energy contributing to the recording. CONSTITUTION:An image signal am to a resistor Rm of a lowest part dot of a head 21 is once stored in a memory circuit 33, and an operation that the image signal am stored at a first scanning is successively read at a second scanning is repeated. An image signal (e) read from the memory circuit 33 is synchronized with a timing signal (f) from a control part 30, and is applied to a resistor R0 of an upmost part dot of the head 21 via an and gate A0 and a transistor T0. A timing signal (g) specifies current application time of resistors R1-Rm, and the timing signal (f) specifies current application time of the resistor R0. The control part 30 and a paper feed drive circuit 32 feed a fixed amount of recording paper 20 in the Y direction at each scanning of the head 21. At that time, a recorded line with the resistor Rm of the lowest part dot in preceeding head scanning and a recorded line with the resistor R0 of the upmost part dot in following dot scanning are so set to be duplicated with each other.
