Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase oxygen utilizing efficiently by collecting air supplied into a reaction tank in the 1st collecting container, further collecting air foams overflowing from the 1st container in the 2nd collecting container and rising up by means of the collecting container in order, making the time of gas and liquid contact longer and widening the contact area. CONSTITUTION:Air and oxygen are blown from an supplying tube 1 into an aerobic biological reaction tank, and the air and oxygen blown in are collected in a collecting container 2. When the air and oxygen fill said collecting container 2, foams rise up from a foam overflowing outlet 3 and are collected in a following collecting container 2, and the same processes are repeated until the foams reach a water level 4. As a result, the time of gas and liquid contact gets longer and the contact area gets wider to utilize oxygen efficiently.
