Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a heat storage air conditioner in which the capacity of a heat storage tank can be set at a low level by sharing a single heat storage tank among a plurality of air conditioning units thereby enhancing utilization efficiency of the entire heat storage tank. CONSTITUTION: Refrigerant condensed and liquefied by an outdoor heat exchanger 3 is pressure reduced through a third flow control valve 17 and vaporized at a first coil 13 through heat exchange with water before being returned back to a compressor 1 after imparting cold heat to the water in a heat storage tank 12. When refrigerant is supercooled utilizing cold heat stored in the water in the heat storage tank 12 and the heat storage tank 12 is utilized for supplementing the heat exchanging capacity of an indoor heat exchanger 6, extra capacity is not accumulated as compared with a system where the heat storage tank 12 is arranged for each air conditioning unit X because a single heat storage tank 12 is shared among a plurality of air conditioning units X, X. Furthermore utilization efficiency of the entire heat storage tank can be enhanced as much as possible and the capacity of the heat storage tank 12 can be set at a low level.
