クルと蒸発温度の低い冷媒が流通する低段側冷凍
サイクルとをカスケードコンデンサにより熱的に
結合した冷凍庫内を冷却する2元冷凍装置におい
て、前記冷凍庫には庫内温度を検知する温度検知
器を設け、前記高段側冷凍サイクルには前記カス
ケードコンデンサと並列に庫内冷却用蒸発器を設
けるとともに、該カスケードコンデンサと該庫内
冷却用蒸発器への冷媒の流通を切換える切換え弁
を設け、該温度検知器に基づき庫内温度が所定温
度以上のときは該高段側冷凍サイクルを駆動する
とともに、該切換え弁により該庫内冷却用蒸発器
へ冷媒を流通させ、また、所定温度以下のときは
該各冷凍サイクルを駆動するとともに、該切換え
弁により該カスケードコンデンサへ冷媒を流通さ
せる制御手段を備えたことを特徴とする2元冷凍
