Prior Art A general-purpose plate heat exchanger, for example, a plate heat exchanger used for central cooling in buildings, is configured to circulate and use a liquid to be treated and a refrigerant. For this reason, the liquid to be treated often becomes polluted water due to deterioration in water quality. In addition, the liquid to be treated may contain solid substances such as sand and iron powder, and slurry, and these solid substances and slurry are
Most of it collects and accumulates within the passages of the element.
For this reason, scaling occurs on the heat transfer surface of the plate element or clogging occurs in the laminated gap of the plate element, reducing the heat exchange function. Whenever a problem like the one mentioned above occurs in a conventional plate heat exchanger, the operation of the plate heat exchanger is stopped and the heat exchanger is disassembled to remove any particles that adhere to the heat transfer surface of the plate element. It is necessary to remove scale, remove accumulated solids and slurry, and then clean the flow path of the liquid to be treated, which poses a major obstacle to ensuring continuity of operation and saving labor in maintenance work. Ta. In addition, as an alternative method for conventional plate heat exchangers, as described in JP-A-53-122968, the inlet and outlet of the liquid to be treated are cleaned separately or separately. A method of cleaning the flow path of the liquid to be treated without disassembling the plate element by discharging solid matter or slurry accumulated in the flow path at the bottom of the plate element from this part. A method is used to remove solids and slurry by inserting a filter element into the fluid passage, but in this case, a heat exchanger is also used to remove the solids and slurry that have accumulated inside the filter element. Since the operation of the heat exchanger must be stopped, there are considerable restrictions on the continuous operation of the heat exchanger.

Structure of the invention As a means for achieving the above object, the present invention is a plate type heat exchanger in which a plurality of plate elements 1, 1... are stacked to form alternating flow paths for the liquid to be treated and the heat exchange medium. In the vessel H, an inflow pipe 2 and an outflow pipe 3 for the liquid to be treated have a filter element 6 inserted therein.
are connected by a bypass pipe line 4, and the bypass pipe line 4
By disposing a flow rate adjustment valve 5 in the flow rate adjustment valve 5 and adjusting the opening degree of this flow rate adjustment valve, a larger amount of the liquid to be treated than the required processing amount in the plate heat exchanger H can be introduced into the inflow pipe 2. Then, the liquid to be treated that has been filtered by the filter element 6 flows into the flow path for the liquid to be treated formed between the plate elements 1, 1..., and the solids and slurry captured by the filter element 6 are removed. It is an object of the present invention to provide a plate heat exchanger configured so that the residual liquid to be treated carries the remaining liquid and discharges it from the outflow pipe 3 via the bypass pipe line 4.

In this way, the liquid to be treated that has been filtered by the filter element 6 flows into the flow path for the liquid to be treated formed between the plate elements 1, and the solids and slurry filtered by the filter element 6 flow into the flow path for the liquid to be treated formed between the plate elements 1. is carried by the remaining liquid to be treated without being deposited in the inflow pipe 2 and flows down the bypass path 4, and is discharged from the outflow pipe 3 to the outside of the apparatus. Furthermore, when the filter element 6 becomes particularly dirty, the flow rate within the filter element 6 can be increased by momentarily fully opening the flow rate regulating valve 5, thereby making it possible to perform more complete cleaning.

Effect of the invention As is clear from the above explanation, by using the plate heat exchanger of the invention, solids and slurry mixed in the liquid to be treated can be supplied in excess without accumulating in the flow path. It can be discharged to the outside of the vessel together with the remainder of the treated liquid. Therefore, there is no need to stop the operation of the heat exchanger to remove accumulated solids and slurry, making it possible to significantly improve operating efficiency. Furthermore, the present invention can exhibit remarkable labor-saving effects in extending the cycle of maintenance work for plate heat exchangers.
