Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a viewer to easily view stereoscopic images by changing the pictures for the right and left to different sets of color information for the right and left, then synthesizing the sets of the information, projecting the same on a large screen and having the projected information viewed by the person wearing spectacles having color filter characteristics. CONSTITUTION:This projector is constituted by using optical systems which collect the respective sets of the information for the right and left, two color filters 8, 8' which change the information for the right and left to respectively separate sets of the color information, an optical system which synthesizes the two sets of the color information onto the screen 7, and the sectacles which have the color filter characteristics to apply the information for the right to the right eye and the information for the left to the left eye on the synthesized picture. Differences from general overhead projectors lie particularly in that there are two heads to collect the light past the original picture 2 and that the filters 8, 8' for converting the information to the respective separate sets of the color information of blue and red for the light and left are attached to the output parts from the heads. Each person is thus capable of viewing the stereoscopic images simply by wearing the spectacles.

<Summary of the Invention> The present invention converts right and left images created for stereoscopic viewing into separate color information for right and left images, combines them, projects them onto a large screen, and displays images for the right and left eyes. The present invention provides an overhead projector that enables stereoscopic viewing by wearing glasses having color filter characteristics for receiving color information for the right side and color information for the left side, respectively.

<Conventional technology> Currently, TV broadcasting is possible without changing the conventional television broadcasting system.
A method has been proposed that allows stereoscopic viewing by utilizing the afterimage phenomenon of the human eye by projecting information from the left eye and information from the right eye for each frame, and viewing this through glasses with synchronized liquid crystal shutters. has been made into

Furthermore, conventionally, there have been images taken with a special stereo camera called 3D photography (stereo photography), and images that have been trained to be viewed in 3D using the naked eye or glasses with lenses.

<Problems to be solved by the invention> However, in this type of conventional stereoscopic image composition method, only one person can view the original image, or even if there are many people, each person needs a glasses drive unit. .

<Means for solving the problem> Therefore, in the present invention, an optical system that collects information for Furukawa and left-handed users, and a system that converts information for Furukawa and left-handed users into separate color information2.
It uses two color filters, an optical system that combines the two color information on the screen, and glasses that have color filter characteristics to give the combined image the right information to the right eye and the left information to the left eye. This is an overhead projector for 3D image synthesis.

' are divided into blue information and red information, respectively, and enlarged and combined on the screen 7. The image that is enlarged and composited on the screen contains information for Furukawa (red) and Left Hand (blue), so it looks duplicated to the naked eye. When viewing this through glasses 9 equipped with red filters 9R and 9B for the right eye and blue filters 9R and 9B for the left eye, Furukawa's red image can be seen with the right eye, but the blue image for the left eye is canted due to the filter characteristics of filter 9R. can not see. The same goes for the left eye, and Furukawa's for the right eye.
The image for the left eye will be restored to the left eye, allowing anyone to easily see in 3D.
