【考案の詳細な説明】
産業上の利用分野
本考案は鋼材の熱間圧延設備に用いられるデス

従来の技術
周知の熱間圧延設備に用いられるデスケーリン
グ装置用のデスケーリング飛散水防止カバー6は
第1図に示すように搬送ローラテーブル1および
該テーブル1上を搬送される被圧延材2とその上
部から該被圧延材に高圧のデスケーリング水を噴
射する上部デスケーリングヘツダー3aを覆うよ
うに左右の両端側壁4a,4bに水平屋根状の上
面部5を差渡し断面形状に形成されていて、飛
散水が他の設備を濡したり、作業場雰囲気を損ず
ることのないように集水し、図示していない排水
溝に導くよう構成されている。これは特公昭56−
27579号公報記載の冷却装置に代表される通りの

考案の構成・作用
そこで本考案者等は第3図、第4図に示すよう
に前記飛散水防止カバー6aの上面部5bを搬送
軸方向を中心として上反りに構成し噴射水7aに
より飛散水8bが両端側壁4a,4bの方向に向
かうように構成し、被圧延材2の上に落下する水
量を著しく減少せしめることに成功した。なお前
記上面部5bの内側5cが上反りになつておれば
上面部5bの構造は適宜な形態を採用して差しつ
かえない。第3図、第4図において9は上面部5

圧延材2の表面に落下する水をデスケーリング余

実施例
仕上圧延機入側において、幅1320mm厚さ23mmの
低炭素鋼被圧延材のデスケーリングを行うにあた
り、従来の第1図に示すカバー6を用いた場合と
本考案にかかるカバー6aを用いた場合とでは仕
上出側温度(センター温度)で2〜3℃の温度差
が認められた。なお仕上出側端部温度では約1℃

考案の効果
以上のとおり本考案によりデスケーリング余水
による被圧延材の必要以上の冷却が防止されたと
いう実用上有利な効果が得られ、圧延技術に寄与
