投入口を、下方に排出口を有する砕氷室内の前記
排出口近くに、ロータが回転可能に配設され、こ
のロータの外周に、小氷塊を粗目の氷片に破砕す
る複数個の打撃刃が軸方向に所定の間隔をおいて
設けられ、この打撃刃をロータの回転時に通過さ
せる隙間をもつた櫛歯状の受歯が、前記シユート
の下方部に設けられている砕氷機において、砕氷
室の排出口の下方に、該排出口から排出される氷
片を収容する容器が配設され、この容器内に、氷
片を微粒子状に粉砕する回転刃が回転可能に配設
