Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct the displacement of an input paper by using a state having no input paper as a state of all black picture elements and starting a scanning at the time of appearing a first white picture element in scanning one line. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile starts the scanning from a position 2 by neglecting the successive blac picture elements in an interval 1 and detecting the white line of the input paper 3. Consequently, since the start of the scanning can be delayed by the displacement of the input paper 3, outputted data output a picture equal to the input paper 3. In such a way, in the input of the facsimile, the state having no input paper is made the state of all the black picture elements and the scanning is started at the time of appearing the first white picture element in the scanning of the one line. Thereby, the dislocation of the input paper 3 can be corrected.
