However, with such a structure, the foot positions are determined in a fixed manner even though the physiques of the occupants are different, and there is a problem in that the occupants cannot necessarily ride in a comfortable posture. Additionally, this is a cause of fatigue when driving for long periods of time, and this is particularly a problem as the number of women who drive motorcycles has been increasing in recent years, and there is a physical difference between them and men.

A bracket 10 is attached to the rear side of the back stay 7, which is a part of the frame 1, with a bolt 11. This bracket 10 has a triangular shape when viewed from the side, and is provided with a holding hole 12 and a holding hole 13 that penetrate in the vehicle width direction at locations corresponding to the mounting positions of footrests for the driver and rear passenger, which will be described later. . Rotors 14 and 15 having rotational axes in the vehicle width direction are rotatably held in these holding holes 12 and 13, respectively.

A bolt 26 constitutes a fixing means for fixing the rotor 14, and is screwed into a screw hole 27 communicating between the inside of the holding hole 12 and the outside, and is provided on the bracket 1o, and is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 14. This prevents the rotor 14 from rotating. On the other hand, the fixing means for fixing the rotor 15 is the holding hole 13.
It is constructed by cutting a part of the bracket 1o in the axial direction and fastening the cut edges 28a and 28b provided on the bracket 1o with bolts 29. That is, the bracket 10 is made elastically deformable by cutting, and the inner circumferential surface of the holding hole 13 and the outer circumferential surface of the rotor 15 are pressed against each other to prevent rotation.

In the footrest mounting structure configured in this way, the footrest 16 for the driver can be moved in the circumferential direction by loosening the bolts 26 and rotating the rotor 14, and also by tightening the bolts 26. This allows the footrest 16 to be fixed arbitrarily.

The same applies to the footrest 17 for the rear passenger; by loosening the bolt 29 and rotating the rotor 15, the attachment center of the footrest 17 can be set at any position on the circumference indicated by the chain line B. The foot position of the passenger can be changed to a comfortable position according to the physique of the passenger.
