Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the on/off operation of lighting by containing an image pickup camera into a housing together with a talking circuit means and providing a lighting control means for controlling the lighting of an infrared lighting means provided additionally to allow a door phone master set to display the video image picked up by the image pickup camera. CONSTITUTION:When a visitor depresses a pushbutton 12 to operate a switch 38, a door phone unit is operated to apply calling and talking. Further, a call circuit 39 activates a camera synchronizing signal generating circuit 27 to light an infrared emitting diode 18 via a signal amplifier circuit 28. なり過ぎてモニタTV3で来訪者の顔を確認できなくな
る。そこで従来は第5図に示すようにドアホン子器1の
設置部周辺に照明灯5を設置し、この照明灯5により来
訪者等を照らし、必要な照度を得るようにしている。と
ころでこの場合、来訪者が呼び出しの押釦7を押してス
イッチ38をオンした時第6図に示す呼出回路39がこ
れを検出して、撮像カメラ4を動作させるとともに、照
明点灯回路24を駆動して照明灯5を点灯させてモニタ
TV3によるモニタを開始し、通話が終了してドアホン
親密2側のハンドセット40が戻されると、自動的に撮
像カメラ4の動作を停止するようになっている。しかし
ながら照明灯5を消灯させる場合にはドアホン親密2に
設けた手動スイッチ6を操作して照明点灯回路24をオ
フさせる必要があり、そのため操作が面倒であるうえに
、オフ操作用の配線が必要であった。また来訪者が来た
時、急に照明灯5を点灯することになるため、来訪者に
強い不快感を与える問題があった。

押釦を操作してから、通話終了時にドアホン親密のハン
ドセットが戻されるまでの間上記赤外線発光手段を発光
させるようにしたので、赤外線発光手段の点灯、消灯の
操作が通話時の操作で自動的に行え操作性が良好であり
、またオフ操作のためのスイッチや配線も不要であると
いういう利点がある。
