は、壁板2の孔径およびフランジ状部5の径のい
ずれよりも大径となるように形成し、また鍔部9
内径は、前記口金部3の螺刻していない根元の平
滑部11外径より充分大として、パツキン8が直
接挟着面6に接触する部分をもつようにしてい
る。そしてフランジ状部5の外縁近傍には、鍔部
9の内径および板厚に適応した段付部を設けて、
ワツシヤー7と継手本体1により形成される環状

壁板2側の接触面12および挟着面側の接触面1

方向は筒状側部10によつて拘束されるため、内
径方向により一層膨張し平滑部11外周面と強く
密着して気密効果を生ぜしめる。この考案は上述
のように構成されているので、壁板2に設けた孔
の径が、口金部3の径に較べ如何に過大に作られ
ていても、筒状側部10の端15の径が、上記孔
径より充分に大きなワツシヤー7を選択して継手
本体1に嵌着し使用すれば、常に良好な気密効果
を保持することが可能なのである。また内部圧縮
気体の漏洩通路となり易い個所は、すべてパツキ
ン8によつて閉塞され、従来のようにワツシヤー
7′と継手本体1′とが直接接しているような個所
は皆無であるから、気密性は確実に保たれること
になる。さらにパツキン8が壁板2と挟着面6と
に挟圧され平径方向へはみ出そうとするのを、ワ
ツシヤー7の筒状側部10が仰止するから、その
分だけパツキン8が、継手本体1の平滑部11に
押着されることになつて、余りロツクナツト4を
緊締しなくても、このような押着状態が得られる
ことになる。したがつて継手本体1の挟着面6に
パツキン8を直接接触させてあつても、継手本体
1が回転し、その結果パツキン8が捩りを受けて

状側部10が設けてあるので、ロツクナツト4の
締めすぎによつてパツキン8に損傷を与えるよう
なことも防止することができ、また継手を壁板2
の孔径に合わせて選択する際には、継手本体1と
は別体に作られたワツシヤー7のみを変えれば良
いので極めて経済的であるなど、この発明に係る
気密接続装置は極めて顕著な諸効果を奏し得るも
