Various methods have been proposed for manufacturing hooks in conventional loop hook fasteners, including cutting the loop to form a hook-shaped hook. However, if the loop is simply cut at one location, this cut is narrow and it is difficult for the loop of the female member of the fastener to enter through the cut, resulting in poor engagement between the loop and the hook. To solve this problem, we installed two movable cutting blades in parallel above and below the fixed cutting blade.
This movable cutting blade cuts the height of the loop by half the height of the loop.
A technique has been disclosed in which resection is performed with an interval of 1 to 1/4 (Japanese Patent Publication No. 13511/1972).
However, since the loop is usually a small height of several millimeters, in order to introduce two cutting blades into this loop, both the fixed cutting blade and the movable cutting blade must be extremely thin. In addition to lacking strength and durability, it is necessary to introduce a fixed cutting blade and a movable cutting blade inside each loop, so although it may be possible if the loops are in a normal shape and lined up regularly, the loops may become twisted or crushed. If the cutting blades have an irregular shape or arrangement due to, for example, the cutting blades cannot be inserted into the loops reliably, there is a tendency for some loops to remain uncut.

The present invention has been made focusing on the above points,
With just one cutter, one side of the loop can be cut in two places to create a large opening at the cut end, improving the strength and durability of the cutter and making it possible to cut even irregularly arranged loops. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a hook of a loop hook fastener that can be cut open, and an apparatus for the same.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a well-known sheet body in which a large number of loops 3 are formed on a base fabric 2;
is hung on the guide member 4 at the upper part, and is hung on the guide rollers 5, 5 and feed rollers 6, 6 at the lower part, and with the tension applied by the tension rollers 7, 7, the arrow It is intermittently conveyed one pitch at a time in the loop 3 in the direction. The tension rollers 7, 7 are capable of moving up and down, and apply a predetermined tension to the sheet body 1 by being biased downward by springs 8, 8, weights, or the like. The guide member 4

2, 12' via a support plate 13. A roller 14 attached to one of the cutter supporting levers 12 is in contact with a cam 16 rotatably supported on a shaft 15. The cutter supporting lever 12 is biased toward the cam 16 by a spring 17. Both ends of the guide member 4 are fixed to guide member supporting levers 19, 19' supported by a shaft 18. A roller 20 attached to one guide member supporting lever 19 is in contact with the cam 16. The guide member supporting lever 19 is also urged in the direction of the cam 16 by a spring 30.

The sheet body 1 is intermittently fed by a length corresponding to one pitch of the loop 3 by the feed rollers 6, 6, and the cam 16 is rotated in conjunction with this feeding. The protrusions 21 and 22 of the cam 16 are connected to the roller 14
Each time you press , the lever 12 swings and the cutter 10 moves forward to the cutter receiver 9, cutting one side of the loop 3 into the 2
Each time the protrusion 22 pushes the roller 20 while cutting, the guide member support lever 19 swings and the guide member 4 rises slightly.

Next, the process of cutting the loop 3 will be specifically explained with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4. The sheet body 11 is fed intermittently, and one side 3a of a row of loops 3 to be cut (for convenience, only this loop 3 is shown with a solid line and the others are shown with a chain line) is placed in each receiving part 26 of the cutter receiver 9. The feed stops at the position where it hits (see Figure 3). At the same time as the position shown in FIG. 3 is reached, the first protrusion 20 of the cam 16 passes the position of the roller 14, thereby causing the cutter holding lever 12 to swing counterclockwise in FIG. The cutter 10 advances to the cutter receiver 9, and the moment the first protrusion 21 finishes passing the roller 14, the cutter retreats to its original position. By this reciprocating movement of the cutter 10, one side 3 of the loop 3 is cut as shown in FIG.
A relatively close to the tip is cut, resulting in a cut 27
(see Fig. 4) is formed (first cutting step).Subsequently, the second protruding portion 22 of the cam 16 passes through both rollers 14, 20, and the cutter supporting lever 12 is cut in the first cutting step. The guide member supporting levers 19 each swing clockwise in FIG. 1 in the counterclockwise direction. The guide member 4 is slightly raised by the swinging of the guide member supporting lever 19, and the sheet body 1
rises together with the guide member 4. At this time, the tension rollers 7, 7 also rise together with the sheet body 1.
If necessary, the tension rollers 7, 7 may be interlocked with the guide member support lever 19 so as to move up and down with the tension rollers 7, 7 in synchronization with the guide member 4. Since the cutter 10 moves forward at the same time as the sheet body 1 rises, one side 3a of the loop 3 is cut at a position closer to the base fabric 2 than the cut 27, as shown in FIG. An opening 28 is formed (second cutting step). By repeating the above operation for each loop in each row, the hook 2 with the opening 28 is
9 are formed one after another.

In the above embodiment, one side 3a of the loop is
In the cutting process, the part closer to the tip is cut, and in the second cutting process, the part closer to the base fabric is cut, but this is the opposite.
That is, a portion closer to the base fabric may be cut in the first cutting step, and a portion closer to the tip may be cut in the second cutting step. In this case, if the guide member 4 is lowered in the second cutting step, the sheet body 1 will be lowered together with the guide member 4 because it is pressed against the guide member 4 by the tension rollers 7, 7. In order to move the guide member 4 downward, for example, only the portion where the cam 16 passes through the second protrusion 22 and the roller 20 may be made into a recess;
The position of the shaft 18 may be changed to perform a swinging motion opposite to that described above.

In the above embodiment, relief grooves 23 and 25 are formed on the edges of both the cutter 10 and the cutter receiver 9, but they may be formed on either edge. Further, the cutter receiver 9 may have a flat end surface with a certain height, and the blade portion of the cutter 10 may be brought into contact with this flat surface. Further, the driving means for the cutter 10 and the guide member 4 is not limited to the means consisting of the cam 16 and the levers 12, 19 of the above embodiment, but in short, the cutter 10 is moved back and forth twice,
Any mechanism may be used as long as it is a means for raising or lowering the guide member 4 during the second reciprocating movement.

As described above, according to the present invention, the upper and lower portions of the loop are cut with one cutter, so a hook with a wide opening can be obtained, and a relatively thick and durable cutter can be used. This improves durability, and since the loops are cut between the cutter and the cutter holder, even if the loops are irregularly arranged, as long as they are interposed between the two, they can be cut reliably and there are fewer cutting errors. There is.
