Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent rain water and the like from overflowing from a drain groove by providing a water stop for the outer circumference of the drain groove located at the corner section so as to cover the groove in a frame where the drain groove is provided along its periphery on the back of a roof panel. CONSTITUTION:A moving lid 3 is fitted onto a roof opening 2 which is provided for a roof panel 1, and a frame 4 which has a drain groove 6 along the periphery, is provided for the back of the roof panel 1. In addition, a seal 11 is provided between the frame 4 and the roof panel 1. In this configuration of a roof structure, a water stop 13 which covers the upper portion of the drain groove 6, is provided for the outer circumference of the drain groove 6 located at the corner of the frame 4. 3を嵌挿する一方、ルーフパネル1の裏面にはフレーム
4を配設して屋根開口2の後方に可動リッド3を格納す
るリッド収納室5を形成し、図示外の駆動装置によって
上記可動リッド3を摺動させてリッド収納室5内に格納
し得るように形成したものがある。このタイプにおいて
、フレーム4の周縁部には、フレーム4成形時に、プレ
ス成形で一体に形成される一条のドレーン溝6が凹設さ
れておシ、このドレーン#16は、上記可動リッド3の
周縁に装着されたウェザストリップと屋根開口2との合
せ面から漏入してくる雨水等を受は入れてフレーム4の
各コーナ部に設は友トレー/バイグγへと導き、車外に
排出するようになっている(例えば実開昭56−971
19号公報参照)。

や急停車時あるいは急カーブ走行時などに、ドレーン溝
6内に溜まっていた雨水等が急激に流れてコーナ部の周
壁8に衝突した場合、第11図に示すように、周壁8で
跳ね上がった雨水等力ルーフパネル1とフレーム4の水
平フランジ10との間に設けたシール材11まで達して

よびフレーム4繭側の両方のコーナ部にも同様の遮水板
13が配置される。

遮水板13に当九って勢い?失なった雨水等は、コーナ
部のドレーンパイプ7に導かれて車外に排出される。

施例と同様、水平7ランジ10が遮水板13の厚さ分だ
け凹んでおり、遮水板13を載置し九時に水平フランジ
10の一般面と同一平面を形成する他、遮水板13の両
端部および中間部には水平7ランジ10との接合部にシ
ーリング14a 、14bがそれぞれ施され、雨水等の
漏入を確実に防止しである。
