This was done for each of the mirrors.
i [Problems to be solved by the invention]] However, in the conventional method, when the driving stone is replaced, for example, the position adjusted by the predecessor remains unchanged due to differences in body shape and seating posture. There is no case where the room mirror and side mirror are appropriate for the successor name, and it is very troublesome to have to readjust all the mirrors again. Adjusting the mirrors is originally a pre-work inspection item and should be done before the start of driving, but in places where rearward visibility is not sufficient, such as in parking lots,
Adjustment of the nodule mirror is difficult, and readjustment is often required while driving. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the readjustment is based on the mutual relationship between the two directions, the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and requires time and attention, which poses many problems in terms of safe driving. By providing a driving method for automobile mirrors, it is possible to complete the re-adjustment of all mirrors by re-adjusting the rearview mirror. By linking the left and right side mirrors to a simple rearview mirror, there is no need to readjust the side mirrors while the vehicle is running, and problems regarding safe driving are also solved.

。FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a first embodiment of the method for driving an automobile mirror according to the present invention, and the reference numeral 1 in the figure is a room mirror. An angle sensor 2 is disposed on the rearview mirror 1 and is configured to detect the angle at which the rearview mirror is set. This configuration can be implemented by an appropriate method such as the so-called joystick method shown in FIG. Each signal is separated and detected. The angle sensor detects the direction of the room mirror 1, and calculates the position of the driver's eyes on the center line of the driver's seat. At the same time, a calculation signal corresponding to the adjustment angle of the rearview mirror is sent out, and the position and direction of the center line of the objective field of view and the angle at which the side mirror, whose physical installation location is determined, are determined are calculated. 4
Based on the results obtained by the calculation section, the drive section 4 generates, for example, a pulse signal to drive the left drive motor 5, which is attached to the left side mirror 7 and consists of two motors, one for the horizontal direction and the other for the vertical direction. Set the side mirrors at the appropriate angle. Similarly, the right-hand side mirror is set in its proper position by the same means. Specific methods for setting the left and right side mirrors at appropriate positions include, for example, a method in which the drive unit 4 generates a differential pulse from the currently set position of the side mirrors, or One possible method is to generate a pulse that indicates the absolute position after restoring the mirror to its initial value. The above-mentioned method is particularly intuitive and natural in terms of operation and is superior, but there are two ways to determine the current position of the side mirror. Although the method described in (2) above is inferior in terms of operation, it has the advantage that it does not require memorization and has a high degree of rIIJ. It can be selected freely.

In the operation of the method of the present invention, the side mirror is set at an appropriate position, and regardless of whether the side mirror is properly positioned or not, it is possible to observe the mutual relationship between, for example, another vehicle and one's own vehicle in the field of view of the side mirror. Some drivers prefer that their own vehicle's body is projected more clearly in order to get a better understanding, while others prefer that their own vehicle's body is hardly projected in order to ensure a wide field of view. In such a case, after the side mirrors are automatically set by the method of the present invention, the left/right manual switch 9.10 is used to perform fine adjustment according to the preference, and also to fix the malfunction indicated by the preceding symbol -. In this case, one stage is provided as in the conventional adjustment method.

An offset setting 11 is added. Specifically, the offset setting 11 consists of one or more switches, and as explained in the second embodiment, the left manual switch 9 and the right manual switch 10 are used to adjust the desired range of fine vj4v. After doing this, press the offset setting 11 to set it. At this time, the measurement section 3 stores the set angle of the left and right side mirrors 7.8 calculated from the room mirror 1 and the offset angle between the angles finely adjusted by the left and right manual switches, Use this A for all subsequent side mirror settings.
This is done by adding O to the fuselage 1-a. This makes it possible to immediately restore the original settings, even after another driver has used the device. at the same time? ! By setting two setting switches, it is easy to accommodate multiple drivers.

優れた効果を奏するものである。[Effects of the Invention] As described above, by providing the angle sensor 2, the calculation unit 3, and the drive unit 4 that detect the angle of the rear-view mirror 1 by decomposing it into a horizontal signal and a vertical signal, the +fri rear-view mirror 1 can be operated. The left and right side mirrors can be automatically set to the appropriate angles by changes in the horizontal signal and vertical No. It has the excellent effect of being able to readjust all mirrors with the simple task of just readjusting the rearview mirror, instead of the hassle of having to readjust the rearview mirror. By using the angle adjustment of the rearview mirror as a standard, which can be set accurately using the automatic QL rear im window frame etc. even in places where rearward visibility is not sufficient, side mirror adjustment can be made more accurate.
This also has excellent effects on safe driving, such as eliminating the need for readjustment after the start of driving.
