However, leakage current was a major problem, making it difficult to put it into practical use.

FIG. 1 shows the overall configuration of a conventional bathtub equipped with the heating device of the present invention. 1 is a bathtub, which is supplied with hot water from a water heater, filled with water, and heated to an appropriate temperature (approx.
℃). If you leave it as is after bathing,
As time passes, the water temperature decreases. here,
If you turn on the power switch 2 of the heating device, the TRS (thermal reed switch) will turn off due to the drop in water temperature.
3 is closed, and current flows through the relay coil 4. Then, the relay switch 5 is closed, and the commercial power source 7 is connected to the heating coil 6. This heating coil 6 is wound around a substantially U-shaped heating pipe 8 made of stainless steel. Furthermore, since a connecting body 9 made of the same stainless steel is provided in a part of the heating pipe 8, the magnetic path of the heating coil 6 becomes a closed loop. Therefore, by passing a current through the heating coil 6, the heating pipe 8 is efficiently heated. According to experiments, an efficiency of about 80% was obtained with a 60Hz commercial power supply of 100V. The hot water in the heating pipe 8 is heated, circulates within the pipe, and heats the hot water in the bathtub 1. When the temperature of the water in the bathtub 1 rises in this way, the contacts of the TRS 3 open and the relay switch 5 opens. and,
Heating of the heating pipe 8 is stopped. Repeat this operation to keep the water temperature in the bathtub at a constant temperature (approximately 42℃).

The connecting body 9 is pipe-shaped and communicates with the heating pipe 8. 10 is a bobbin of the heating coil 6, and parts given the same numbers as in FIG. 1 are the same as the parts explained in FIG. Note that the connecting body 9 may be non-pipe-shaped.

Further, since the portion forming the magnetic path is heated by induction heating, if the connecting body is made into a pipe shape, the energy can be effectively utilized by passing hot water through the pipe. Therefore, the heat conversion efficiency also increases. Furthermore, since the configuration is very simple, it is highly reliable and has great practical effects.
