Abstract

PURPOSE:To inexpensively and easily discriminate floating matter from treated water of supernatant water and to remove the floating matter from said water by pulling a baffle plate up onto the water surface at proper times so as to discharge the floating matter accumulated by the baffle plate for a long period of time from an overflow weir. CONSTITUTION:The baffle plate 5 which is provided to the inside peripheral side of the overflow weir 4 to discharge the supernatant water and is used to block the outflow of the floating matter is held by a holder 15 fixed to the overflow weir 4 in a water draining path 2 provided with the above- mentioned overflow weir 4 along the upper peripheral edge of a tank body 1. The baffle plate 5 is pulled up onto the water surface at proper times to discharge the floating matter blocked by the baffle plate 5 from the overflow weir 4, by which the floating matter is separated from the treated water of the supernatant water and is removed. The above-mentioned method for remov ing the floating matter is easy in operation, simple in construction and low in cost.

In water treatment, it is necessary to remove particles dispersed or suspended in raw water or wastewater. For this reason, adding a flocculant to the water to be treated is +5! By mechanical stirring, the dispersed particles and suspended particles in the water are aggregated into 70 pieces, which are introduced into a circular sedimentation tank or the like, where the 70 pieces are allowed to settle naturally to remove the dispersed particles and suspended particles.

This method is easy to operate and inexpensive, and is popular as a method for dispersing water treatment and removing suspended particles. Due to their structure, tanks, sludge thickening tanks, etc. have the disadvantage that they cannot sufficiently remove floating substances such as buoyant fine particles and scum. Facilities are installed to forcibly remove 1,170 particles, scum, etc.

That is, as shown in FIG. 1, a drainage channel 2 is provided along the inner circumference of a tank body 1 of a circular settling tank or sludge thickening tank, and an overflow weir 4 is attached to a side wall 3 of this drainage channel 2. Furthermore, a baffle plate 5 is disposed inside thereof to prevent floating objects from flowing out. A rotary floating object scraper is installed inside the tank body 1, and an example of a floating object scraper is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 on the tank wall of the tank body 1. An electric motor 7 is arranged on the girder 6 stretched over the upper surface, and the rotating axle 8 is driven by this electric motor 8!7.
A tank is used in which the flocs and sludge accumulated at the bottom of the tank are scraped up to the center using a scraping plate 9 provided at the bottom of the rotating axle 8.

That is, in the treatment of raw water and treated sludge in such a circular sedimentation tank or sediment concentration tank, most of the raw water and treated sludge are discharged as settled and concentrated sludge and sludge, and only a small amount of floating matter rises to the surface of the water 12. This is successively prevented from flowing out by the baffle plate 5 and becomes piled up. And this ;! ! F
The accumulated floating objects are removed from the tank by intermittently driving a floating object scraper.

However, in the conventional technology shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, floating objects that have been piled up by RF over a long period of time are removed by driving a complexly configured floating object scraper. Moreover, since the floating object skimmer of the floating object scraper is installed so as to be submerged below the water surface, there is a drawback that floating objects or generated algae may adhere to it.

The present invention has been made in view of this, and it is necessary to use a complexly structured floating object m approach as in the conventional technology.
By lifting the baffle plates above the water surface in a timely manner, the floating objects accumulated by the baffle plates for a long period of time are allowed to flow out of the overflow weir, and separated from the treated water of the upper water. ,
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for removing floating objects that can be performed using inexpensive equipment and is easy to operate.

The Vtr& of the present invention to achieve the above object is a drainage channel equipped with an overflow weir that drains supernatant water along the upper periphery of the tank body, and a floating object provided on the inner peripheral side of the overflow weir. A baffle plate that prevents outflow is fixed to the overflow weir, and the floating objects blocked by the baffle plate are removed at the appropriate time (by raising the baffle plate above the water surface and allowing it to flow out from the overflow weir). The gist of the 1rl water is to separate it.

A plurality of these holders 15 are provided at the overflow weir 4 of the drainage channel 2 provided along the upper periphery of the tank body 1, and the baffle plate 5 is held so that the floating material flows out from the overflow weir/t into the drainage channel 2. is prevented from doing so. FIG. 5(a) is an enlarged sectional view of a main part to explain this, and FIG. 5(b) is a view taken along the line A--A in FIG. 5(a). The floating objects floating on the water surface 12 are prevented from flowing into the overflow weir 4 by the baffle plate 5, and the clear water in which 70 pieces have settled in the tank is passed through the V-shaped notch from the bottom of the baffle plate 5. The treated water flows from the flow weir 4 to the drainage channel 2 and is sent from the treated water valve 20 to a treated water tank (not shown). Accumulated by the baffle plate 5 r:
, the floating object is removed by lifting the baffle plate 5 above the water surface 12.
By locking the lower ends of the water to the locking pieces 19 of the respective holding parts 18, the treated water flows toward the overflow weir 4 and is introduced from the overflow weir 4 into the drainage channel 2. At the same time, the treated water valve 20 is closed and the 'J! By opening the upper material valve 21, the floating material is separated from the treated supernatant water (Fig. 6(a),

This operation may be carried out at an appropriate time depending on the properties of the raw water and treated sludge or the amount of floating matter piled up. After the floating objects are removed from the water surface 12, the baffle plates 5 are fitted into their respective holding parts 18 in their original state, the treated water valve 20 is opened, and the floating object valve 21 is closed.

The method for removing floating objects configured as described above removes floating objects that have been piled up against the baffle plate 5 for a long period of time by removing them from the baffle plate 5 in a timely manner.
By raising the water above the water surface, it flows out from the overflow weir 4, and the supernatant water is separated from the treated water, so there is no need for complicated operations like in the conventional technology, and there is no need to forcibly scrape up floating objects. Since a floating object skimmer is not used,
There is no need to reduce the processing capacity due to the adhesion of floating objects, algae, etc., and there is no need to perform complicated fF operations to remove these adhering substances.

As explained above, the floating object removal method of the present invention is extremely easy to stir, and unlike the conventional method in which a floating object scraper is attached, the structure is extremely simple and can be provided at low cost. Since it can be easily installed in conventionally used circular sedimentation tanks, sludge thickeners, etc. to remove floating substances, it is of great benefit in the maintenance and management of water treatment.
