Recently, it has been revealed that human cancer cells are extremely sensitive to high temperatures compared to normal cells. In other words, it was discovered that cancer cells suddenly lose their vigor when the temperature exceeds 40°C, whereas normal cells are safe.

Therefore, using a conventional endoscope, warm air or hot water is blown onto the affected area within the body cavity through its air and water supply channel, while hot air or hot water is collected through its suction channel to only target the affected area within the body cavity. It is possible to heat it.

However, with this heating method that uses an endoscope to blow hot air or hot water, it is difficult to partially heat the affected area within the body cavity, and it is difficult to maintain the necessary constant temperature over a long period of time. Although this is possible, it also causes great fatigue for the operator and patient. Therefore, it is not possible to kill only cancer cells by partially maintaining a constant temperature.

On the other hand, a commonly used method is to guide an electric scalpel into the body cavity through an endoscope channel to resect the lesion, but the original purpose of this method was to surgically remove the lesion. Therefore, the temperature of the part that comes into contact with the electric scalpel is several hundred degrees. For this reason,
If it accidentally comes into contact with normal tissue, there is a risk that the cells in that area will die. Furthermore, the endoscope must be inserted into the body cavity until the treatment is completed, which causes a lot of fatigue for both the operator and the patient. In particular, when the operator becomes fatigued, areas other than the affected area may also be treated. There was a danger of it being lost. In other words, it is not a safe method.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to be able to stably heat only the affected area within the body cavity at a constant temperature over a long period of time, and to reduce the fatigue of the operator and the patient. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a medical heat treatment device that allows safe treatment with less pain.

First, when using an endoscope 7 having two forceps channels 9 and 10 as shown in FIG. The medical thermal treatment tool 1 and the forceps 30 are inserted using 9 and 10. Then, the forceps 30 are operated to grasp the distal end of the medical thermal treatment tool 1 and the heating electrode 3 is inserted into the patient 29 and attached thereto. In this state, connect the power supply 26 and
The heating electrode 3 may be allowed to generate heat for 4 hours, but
Inserting the endoscope 7 through the oral cavity causes great pain to the patient. Therefore, in such a case, after the heating electrode 3 is inserted into the patient 29 and attached thereto, the handle 17 is removed (if it has been attached in advance), and the endoscope 7 is pulled out from the body cavity 28. Thereafter, the handle 17 is attached to the socket 14, and the power supply 26 is connected to supply a current of, for example, 10V. The patient 29 is then heated for 1 to 4 hours. Thus, the affected area 29 can be locally heated at a constant temperature for a long period of time. Note that after the treatment is completed, the medical heat treatment device 1 may be pulled out.

As in the case of FIG. 3, the heating electrode 3 is inserted into the affected area 29 using the forceps 30 and fixed therein. Thereafter, the endoscope 8 is pulled out from within the body cavity 28. Also,
The flexible tube 31 may be pulled out. and,
Similarly to the above, the heating electrode 3 is heated to treat the affected area 29.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the heat-generating electrode of the medical thermal treatment instrument is pierced and attached to the affected area in the body cavity, so this attachment operation is simple and can be ensured. Furthermore, after being attached to the affected area, the endoscope can be pulled out of the body cavity. In other words, since there is no need to observe with an endoscope until the treatment is completed, operator fatigue is reduced. It also causes less pain for the patient.

Furthermore, the heating electrode is punctured and attached to the affected area,
Since heating is performed by supplying current from a power source outside the body cavity, only the affected area can be heated stably at a constant temperature for a long period of time, making it possible to perform reliable treatment.
