As shown in Figure 1, the embossing 1 and the resin processing part 2
When binding paper 3 that has been treated with paper 3, punched paper, etc. on a part of the mount, or mounts that have easily damaged objects such as butterfly specimens pasted, it is necessary to Pressure may cause the shape of the specimen to collapse or the shape of the embossed resin work to collapse. This collapse can be prevented to some extent by reducing the tightening pressure of the binding margin during bookbinding or by providing spacers 4 in the binding margin, but if the binding is not tightened or if spacers are only used in the binding margin, If the spine is stiffened during bookbinding with just the provision, the finished book will be more likely to collapse or be damaged. Also, if you perform final cutting with gaps between each collated sheet, the collated sheets may shift and the cuts may not be aligned properly.
There is a drawback that the cut end becomes curved after cutting. The present invention has been made in view of these drawbacks, and is a method for binding books made of collated paper on which unevenness is formed or pasted. arranging a spacer having a width between each of the collated sheets so as to be located at the edge part avoiding the formation, and at the cutting dimension line of the collated paper, a portion adjacent thereto, and the binding margin; Further, after arranging each of the collated sheets, a backing process is performed, and then the edge portion is cut along the cutting dimension line, and unnecessary spacers are removed.

Next, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the drawings.
Figure 2 shows an example of a cardboard spacer used in the present invention. The thickness of the spacer is thicker than the height of the embossing etc. applied to each collated paper, and moreover, it is placed on each page of the book. The structure is designed to avoid areas where embossing and specimens have been pasted. The spacer 5 serves to protect the embossments applied to each page of the book, the pasted specimens, and other formed objects from pressure during backing and cutting. This spacer 5 is not limited to the one shown in FIG. 2, but may be provided in advance near the edge of the collated paper using foam ink by printing means such as stencil printing or gravure printing. In this case, by applying the spacer with a width slightly wider than the finished cutting dimension line, the necessary spacer will remain at the edge even after cutting, and the formed parts of each page will be protected even after the binding is completed. Let's do it like this.

When using a spacer as shown in Figure 2,
As shown in FIG. 3, spacers 4 and 5 are arranged between each collated paper 6 after binding the collated paper 6 or before and after pasting the formed product 7, and then the assembled collated papers 6 are processed. At the same time or after the backing is performed while pressing, the edges are temporarily attached with an adhesive 8 as shown in FIG. After that, a three-sided cutting process is performed. In this case, since the edge portions are temporarily attached with adhesive 8, the edge portions will not shift during cutting, and the cutting process can be performed with good accuracy. The spacer 4 to be placed in the binding margin is provided in advance by pasting on the binding margin of each collated sheet, or by screen printing, gravure printing, etc., as described above. On the other hand, with Spencer 5, there is no need to push it all the way down to the back. That is, it is necessary to take care to remove unnecessary spacers when finishing the bookbinding. If you want to leave a spacer on the edge part after cutting to protect the formed items on the collated paper, you can place the spacer in advance by printing means etc. so that it is on the inside of the finished cutting line. . After the cutting process, the work is completed by performing normal bookbinding work such as rounding work in round spine binding, and then removing unnecessary spacers.

When using the spacer 5 as shown in Fig. 2, it is not necessary to remove the spacer 5 after cutting, and it can be left inserted between the collated sheets.
You may continue to protect the formations on the collated paper.

Since the present invention has the above-described structure, when binding a bound book made of collated paper that has unevenness or pasted edges, the various pressures generated during binding will prevent the formations on the collated paper from being removed. It can be protected, and it can also be cut accurately on the cutting dimension line without shifting the edges.
