しつとりして上品な印象を与えることができる。
また、合成樹脂を含浸させて強化されているため
に、折れたりすることがないと共に傷もつきにく
く且つまた細い機械作業を行うこともできる。ま
た自然木のように自然に反り曲る虞もない。更に
また眼鏡枠にとつて重要な弾力性を有し、加えて
木質系複合材の製造過程において合成樹脂に適宜
な色彩の塗料を加えると、木目の柄の美しさに加
えて導管中の塗料による色柄ができ、上品さに加
