装置に係り、特に後歯に取付けるブラケツトにお
いて、アーチワイヤの端部を仮止めすることので
きるブラケツトに関するものである。

が固定されず遊んでいるため、舌や口腔粘膜を傷
つけたり、前歯側を嵌めても後歯側が外れたり、
逆に後歯側を嵌めても前歯側が外れたりして操作
上困難を伴うなどの欠点があつた。これに対し
て、第5図のようにチユーブ7を固着したブラケ
ツトでは、アーチワイヤ3の両端部4,4を予め
挿入するため、舌や口腔粘膜を傷つけたりしない
という利点がある。しかし、前歯1fの頂部とチ
ユーブ7とに通常6mm程度の高低差があるためア
ーチワイヤ3の両端部4,4を挿入する際、アー
チワイヤ3の両端部4,4が第2図の実線のよう
に直線的なものは勿論、第2図の鎖線のように下
方へ折曲したいわゆるアンカレツジベントの場合
には、前歯1f部分が邪魔になる。したがつて第
3図に示すように、強制的に鎖線のように折り曲
げつつ挿入しなければならず、しかもアーチワイ
ヤ3の屈曲の調整ができなくなり、正確な矯正が
できなくなるという問題があつた。
