Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a color image having no color mixture by performing optical scanning and transfer once by providing plural image holding members and equalizing differences in time from the exposure of the respective image holding members to transfer to transfer paper to delay times of the transfer from the respective image holding members to the transfer paper. CONSTITUTION:The plural image holding members correspond to respective separated colors. An original is scanned optically and reflected light is separated by a color separation mirror or filter into respective color components, to which the respective image holding members are exposed. Latent images formed on the image forming members as mentioned above are developed with respective color toner particles and transferred to the transfer paper. Distances from the exposure of the respective image holding members to the transfer to the transfer paper are different and when the image holding members move at the same speed, there is a difference in time from the exposure to transfer.
