(b) Prior Art When a thin metal plate is pressed into a desired shape, the sliding friction on its surface must be small. If the sliding friction is large, the male and female molds will not slide smoothly on the surface, and a large stress will be applied to a portion of the sheet metal, resulting in cracks in the sheet metal.

As a comparative example, the above example except that stearic acid (Comparative Example 1), butyl stearate (Comparative Example 2), and a composition consisting of 100 parts by weight of stearic acid and 33 parts by weight of butyl stearate (Comparative Example 3) were used. Three types of thin metal sheets for forming were obtained under the same conditions as above.

For these thin metal sheets for forming, coating unevenness and adhesion of the coated material to the thin metal sheet were measured. The results are shown in the table below. Incidentally, coating unevenness is defined as the ratio (O
The adhesion force of the coated material to the gold WSm plate is shown in A), and the higher the ratio, the more significant the unevenness of coating is.
100/100 was determined when the coating material did not adhere to the cellophane adhesive tape at all, and O/100 was determined when the entire coating material adhered to the cellophane adhesive tape.

As is clear from the results in the table above, in the case of the example, the coating solution could be applied uniformly to the surface of the thin metal plate, and the coating material was evenly and evenly applied, whereas in the case of the comparative example, the coating solution was applied to the surface of the thin metal plate. It has a tendency to pop and bead on the surface of the thin plate, resulting in considerable unevenness of application. In addition, in the case of Example 1, the adhesion of the coated material to the thin metal plate is also superior to that of the comparative example.

(F) Effects of the Invention In the thin metal sheet for forming according to the present invention, since the lubricating compound represented by the general formula (I) is firmly attached to the surface of the thin metal sheet, the lubricating substance is released during handling. In addition, the compound represented by the general formula (I) is uniformly and evenly adhered to the surface of the metal sheet. Therefore, when performing squeeze molding using a mold, this thin metal sheet for forming does not inhibit sliding with the mold and exhibits good lubricity, so stress leaves do not occur and the thin metal sheet cracks. Therefore, the production yield of molded products by squeeze molding etc. is improved.
