In such cases, it is desirable from operational and economical standpoints to control humidity in the simplest possible way without using large-scale equipment. Conventionally, the method for controlling the humidity of powder and granular materials has been to simply spray water onto the powder and granular materials, but without sufficient stirring, unevenness tends to occur and it is difficult to control the humidity uniformly. Ta.
The present inventors have studied various methods for easily and uniformly controlling the humidity of powdered or granular materials, and have completed the present invention. That is, according to the present invention, by installing a mixing bar at a fixed position perpendicular to the traveling direction of the conveyor belt and with a gap of 0 to 10 mm from the conveyor belt, the powder or granular material transferred on the conveyor belt can be Provided is a method for moisturizing a powder or granular material on a conveyor belt by causing the powder to be heaped up on the mixing rod and being dispersed, and by spraying water from substantially directly above the mixing rod.

良好に調湿されるのである。 The present invention continuously and efficiently controls the humidity of a powder or granule material by transporting the powder or granule material on a belt conveyor on which a mixing rod is fixedly installed. That is, the mixing rod installed on the conveyor belt may be any ordinary rod-shaped material, and is installed so as to be perpendicular to the direction of movement of the conveyor belt and in contact with the belt with a gap of 0 to 10 mm, depending on the belt width of the conveyor belt. In addition, since the mixing rod in the present invention is used to heap up and spread the powder and granular material transferred by the belt conveyor on the mixing rod due to the presence of obstacles on the mixing rod, Naturally, it is necessary that the mixing rod be fixedly installed and not substantially bent by the impact and pressure of the powder or granular material. Therefore, for example, items such as curtains or webbing-like items that move or bend due to the collision pressure of granular objects cannot be used as mixing rods in the present invention. In this way, the powder and granular material being transported on the conveyor belt is piled up on the fixed mixing rod and dispersed throughout. Therefore, by simultaneously spraying water from almost directly above the mixing rod, the moisture of the powder or granular material can be easily and well controlled.

In addition, when the central portion of the conveyor belt is curved due to the powder or granular material being transferred, it is preferable to use a mixing bar that is curved accordingly.
In the present invention, if the amount of powder or granular material transferred on the conveyor belt is too large, the moisture conditioning of the powder or granular material becomes uneven and insufficient. Therefore, it is generally optimal for the thickness of the layered material to be transferred to be 20 to 50 mm.

粉粒体の調湿をより十分に行うことが出来る。 Although the thickness of the mixing rod depends on the particle size of the powder and granular material and the amount of conveyance, it is generally preferable to have a diameter of about 5 to 10 mm. If it is thinner than that, there will be little rise in the powder/grain laminate due to the mixing rod, and it will be difficult to uniformly control the humidity of the powder/grain material. On the other hand, if the mixing rod is thicker than the above range, it is not preferable because the mixing rod will stop the transfer of the powder or granular material and there is a risk that it will fall from the side of the belt conveyor. 1 and 2 are a perspective view and a side view for explaining one embodiment of the present invention. A box-shaped frame 2 is constructed around the conveyor belt 1, and a mixing rod 3 and a water spray pipe 4 are installed in the frame 2. That is, the mixing rod 3 is connected to a hanging rod 6, suspended from the frame 2, and fixed so as to be perpendicular to the traveling direction of the conveyor belt and in contact with the belt. In this case, by adjusting the hanging rod 3 with screws 4, etc., the gap between the mixing rod 3 and the conveyor belt 1 can be made zero.
It can be arbitrarily adjusted within the range of ~10mm. Of course, the gap between the conveyor belt and the mixing bar may be determined in advance, and the mixing bar may simply be supported on the side surface of the frame 2. The frame body 2 is not particularly limited as long as it can support and fix the mixing rod, and is not limited to the box shape as shown in the drawings. Next, a spray pipe 5 is attached to the frame 2 so as to be positioned above the mixing rod 3, and water is sprayed. It is preferable to install the spray pipe 5 almost directly above the mixing rod 3 in order to uniformly control the humidity of the powder or granular material. In the above, we have explained the case where one mixing rod and one spray pipe are used, but as shown in Figure 1, by installing multiple of each,
The humidity of the powder and granular material can be controlled more fully.

It was installed so that the gap between it and the conveyor belt was 5 mm. The conveyor belt was made of rubber and had a width of 40 cm. The belt conveyor was operated at a speed of 1.0 m/sec while gypsum granules with a moisture content of 0.01% or less and an average diameter of 7 mm were stacked on the conveyor belt to a width of about 25 cm and a thickness of about 40 cm. Meanwhile, water was sprayed at a rate of 200 c.c./sec from the top of each round steel using a spray nozzle. The gypsum granules thus conditioned had a moisture content of approximately 5%, and the humidity was uniformly conditioned.
