と対向しかつ少なくとも一端側が液晶表示パネルの外方
に突出する螢光透明板を設け、との螢光透明板の液晶表
示パネルの外方に突出する部分の表面を採光面とすると
ともに、この螢光透明板の液晶表示パネルと対向する部
分の表面に、前記採光面から螢光透明板内に取入れた光
を液晶表示パネルに向けて放出する多数の切込みを設け
