Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the splashing of ink and the surface stain of an ink tank at the time of the mounting and detachment of an ink cartridge and to facilitate the replacement of a clean cartridge, by connecting the ink tank to the fitting part of a color ink cartridge by using a special screw fitting part. CONSTITUTION:A threaded part 2a is provided to the inner periphery of the ink replenishing port 2 of an ink tank 1 by engraving while a threaded part 3a is provided to the lower part of an ink cartridge 3 by engraving. A protruded engaging piece 4 is provided to the center of the ink replenishing port 2 in a rotatable manner and an ink emitting port 3b is provided to the ink cartridge 3 so that the inner diameter shape thereof is set to a shape coinciding with the outer shape of the engaging piece 4. A plurality of combinations each consisting of the engaging pieces 4 with the inner diameter shape of the ink emitting port 3b are mounted and the ink-emitting port 3b is made mountable to the exclusive ink-replenishing port 2 to eliminate erroneous insert. In replenishing ink, the ink-emitting port 3b of the ink cartridge 3 is positionally matched with the engaging piece 4 of the ink tank 1 and both of them are allowed to coincide to connect the ink cartridge 3 to the tank 1 by threading.

インクカートリッジのインク注出口を着脱可能に結合す
るねじ部を設けたことを特徴とするインクジェットプリ

ンクタンク形状のローコスト化を計ることができる効果
