Conventional spinning travellers lack abrasion resistance, causing early wear, leading to unstable running of the trape 2, frequent thread breakage, and frequent occurrence of fuzz, premature seizure and scattering of the traveler, and further damage to the ring. The disadvantage was that the lifespan was shortened.

A silicon oxide layer 2 with a thickness of 1 to 20 μm is formed on the surface in contact with the ring 7 lunge by chemical vapor deposition at 600 to 1000°C in a sulfur gas atmosphere with the main component, and then the surface is hardened. By polishing, the traveler for a spinning machine of the present invention is constructed.

Excellent abrasion resistance for a long time D) The labeler runs stably, has good compatibility with the ring, prevents frequent thread breakage, suppresses the occurrence of fuzz, and significantly extends the life of the traveler. I can do it. In addition, since the oxide layer has good heat resistance, it has excellent high temperature fatigue resistance even in high speed spinning, and can further extend the life of the traveler. Furthermore, since the oxide layer contributes to improving corrosion resistance, this invention has excellent effects such as being able to prevent rusting of the traveler even when used for spinning flame-retardant fibers.
