Abstract

PURPOSE:To transmit a significant tone with only processing of input/output processing processors without applying a load to switching processing processors, by providing a means which transmits the significant tone indicating the busy state to subscribers. CONSTITUTION:Changes such as originating, release, and dial operation of a subscriber are detected by input/output processing processors 1a-1c, and change information detected by input/output processing processors 1a-1c are transferred to switching processing processors 2a and 2b. Switching processing processors 2a and 2b analyze transferred change information to start the switching processing and determine output processings such as connection of a switch 3 and transmission of various service tones in the stage of the switching processing and indicate them to input/output processing processors 1a-1c. Input/output processing processors 1a-1c perform processings such as switch control and service tone transmission. Private busy tone transmitters 4a-4c are provided for individual input/output processing processors 1a-1c to perform the direct busy tone transmission processing independently of general processings.
